 <![CDATA[At 21:50 Hrs. Company 15 was dispatched to 25 Poplar Ave. in the borough for a reported kitchen fire. Union County 911 dispatched a working fire box from the start due to the information they received.&nbsp;This brings the second alarm units on the initial dispatch. Fire Police Capt. (Mabus) arrived and reported smoke showing with fire visible in the rear. Engine 15-2 and Truck 15-1 arrived at the same time and went to work. Engine 15-2 laid in from down the block, stretched a 200' 2&amp;rdquo; smooth bore, and made a quick knock on the fire. Truck 15-1 took care of a primary search finding two dogs and started ventilation for the engine crew. The fire was contained to the kitchen with no major extension. Crews from Warrior Run, White Deer Twp., and&nbsp;Lewisburg assisted on the scene and with some overhaul. Rescue 3-1 from Mifflinburg stood by as RIT. Turbot Township&nbsp;(CO17)&nbsp;also assisted.  	<title>MUTUAL AID BARN FIRE</title>

 <![CDATA[At 22:06 Hrs. Company 15 was dispatched to its first call of the New Year along with Pottsgrove (CO12)&nbsp;for a reported working fire on Creek Road in West Chillisquaque Township. Once Pottsgrove's chiefs responded, Union County 911 advised them that it was a fully involved barn. Command 12 than requested third alarm tankers be dispatched.&nbsp;As crews arrived there was an exposure on the C side that became involved. Engine 15-2 responded with 6 and was the second piece on the scene and went to work&nbsp;deploying their preconnected step gun, 2 1/2&amp;quot; bomb line, and a 400' 2&amp;quot; smooth bore line. Engine 12-1 also deployed their Blitz Fire and some hand lines. After about 15 minutes from arriving on the scene the main barn collapsed into the lower levels of the structure. Crews worked for a couple of hours until a trachoe arrived to assist in overhaul operations. Apparatus on the scene and at fill sites: Engines 12-1, 15-2, 5-1 (White Deer Twp.), 17-1 (Turbot Twp.), 2-2 (Lewisburg), Tankers 12-1, 9-1 (Warrior Run), 17-1, 2-1, 5-1, Rescues&nbsp;15-1, 2-1&nbsp;along with&nbsp;engines and tankers from Montour County.  	<title>TRACTOR TRAILER ENGINE FIRE</title>

 <![CDATA[At 21:45 hours The 15 House along with Turbot Township (CO17) was dispatched to the Penn 80 Truck Stop in Turbot Twp. for a tractor trailer fire. Chief 1502 and Fire Police Capt. (Mabus) arrived to find a small fire in the engine compartment of a truck tractor. Fellow truck drivers alerted the driver that was asleep in his bunk that his truck was on fire. The other truck drivers dumped numerous fire extinguishers on the engine but the fire was oil fed and would not go out. Engine 15-1 arrived just behind the townships tanker and assisted them with one line for extinguishment. Crews working on the scene were available in 45 minutes....]]>

 	<title>ROLLOVER WITH ENTRAPMENT</title>

 <![CDATA[On Christmas day at 21:30 Hrs. Company 15 was dispatched to the 100 block of Sodom Road for a reported vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Chief 1503 (Shaffer) arrived minutes later to find one car on its roof with the driver trapped inside. Rescue and Engine 15 responded together and was advised by command the driver was entrapped. Units arrived and stabilized the vehicle and prepared to start the extrication. The Rescue crew removed the passenger door, the B and C post and removed the driver via the back window area. Due to the patient going in and out of consciousness command requested Life Flight to the scene. Engine 15-2 left the accident scene to go set up a landing zone for the chopper. The total extrication took about 15-20 minutes. The vehicle involved left the road, rolled several times, and struck a telephone pole before coming to rest on its roof.  <![CDATA[At 07:46 Hrs. The 15 House was dispatched to Interstate 80 East Bound at Mile Marker 214 for a vehicle accident involving a passenger bus. Chief 1502 (Stump) arrived to find one car into the guiderail and no bus involved. Apparently the bus stopped to check on the driver of the car and then continued on. Rescue 15-1 took care of vehicle hazards while the patient was checked out in the MICU. Crews cleared in about 45 minutes....]]>

 	<title>UPPER MARKET STREET ARSON FIRE</title>

 <![CDATA[At 14:58 Hrs. Company 15 was dispatched along with Lewisburg (2), Mifflinburg (3), White Deer Township (5), Warrior Run (9) and Turbot Township (17) for a reported working house fire. Chief 1503 arrived minutes later to find a one story house with heavy smoke and some fire starting to show through the roof. The Chief was advised by neighbors and PD that the homeowner might be home and possibly inside. Truck 15-1 and Engine 15-2 arrived at the same time and went to work. Truck 15-1 did a quick primary search and was than advised from the mother next door that nobody was home. Engine 15-2 laid in and started off with a 200' 2&amp;quot; Smooth bore. The Rescue crew from Lewisburg and the Engine crews from Warrior Run and White Deer assisted with two more 2&amp;quot; hand lines. Mifflinburg arrived and set up as RIT. One of the lines was then moved to an exposure on the bravo side to check for extension. The only extension on the&nbsp;bravo exposure was through a window frame. Luckily the house on the bravo side that was only 8 Ft away had aluminum siding. The house on the delta side only had the vinyl siding melted off with no extension. Crews had the bulk of the fire knocked down in about 10 minutes. This fire was just five doors down from an earlier fire this summer and just 3 weeks after the fire on Filbert Street. An Engine from Point Township and a Truck from Northumberland stood by and the 15 House. ...]]>

 <![CDATA[The 15 House was dispatched at 19:20 Hrs. to Interstate 80 at Mile Marker 214 East Bound for a reported car overturned. Chief 1502 was first to arrive and found one vehicle on its side with the occupant still inside unable to get out. Rescue 15-1 arrived and immediately stabilized the vehicle. Once stabilized, crews worked on removing the passenger side door and flapping the roof to gain access. The Rescue crew had the patient out in about 7-10 minutes. The occupant suffered only minor injuries. Engine 17-1 (Turbot Twp.) assisted the Rescue with extrication. Units went available an hour later.

 <![CDATA[At 08:23 Hrs. Company 15 was dispatched to 100 North Front Street in the borough for an odor of something burning. Chief 1501 arrived and found light smoke coming from the eves and roof line. Truck 15-1 arrived and starting searching for the fire and found it in the ceiling above the kitchen on the third floor. Engine 15-2 arrived after laying in and stretched a 300' 2&amp;quot; line to the third floor. The crew from the Truck knocked down the fire in the ceiling with a PW can. It is believed that squirrels had been living in the attic and chewed through the electrical wires. Company 15 remained on the scene for a little over an hour. Units on the scene: Engines 15-2, 2-3, 5-1, and Truck 15-1.

 <![CDATA[At 04:19 Hrs. Company 15 was dispatched to 47 Filbert St. in the borough for a reported house fire. The house involved was just down the street from the Milton Police Dept. and the officer working advised dispatch that there was fire showing from the second floor. Chiefs 1501 (Gaugler) and 1503 (Shaffer) arrived and immediately struck a second alarm due to the heavy involvement and the close proximity of the exposures. Engine 15-1 was next to arrive with a crew of six and was advised to swing the gun and get a hit on the fire. While the deck gun was in use the rest of the engine crew stretched a 200' 2 1/2, established a water supply,&nbsp;and prepared to make entry. As the first&nbsp;nozzle team made its way to the second floor a second 200' 2&amp;quot; line was stretched to the other apartment upstairs. Crews encountered heavy fire conditions and were able to make a good hit on the apartments involved. This structure consisted of four units. There were two upstairs and two downstairs. Truck 15-1 arrived next and&nbsp;went to work throwing ladders, ventilating for the engine and extinguishing a small fire in the exposure building. Company 15 was assisted at the scene&nbsp;with units from White Deer Township (CO5), Warrior Run (CO9), Mifflinburg (CO3), and Lewisburg (CO2). Montoursville Ladder 20 and Point Township Engine 741 stood by at The 15 House. Thanks to the companies that assisted that morning and the crews that stood by in&nbsp;our quarters. Company 15 remained on the scene for about six hours assisting the State Fire Marshal....]]>

At 00:27 Hrs. The 15 House was dispatched to the 800 block of Shakespeare Ave. in the borough for a crash with confinement. Chief 1503 (Shaffer) arrived to find a small truck that had lost control and struck two parked cars. The Chief confirmed that the driver was confined and advised the Rescue that they would have to take the driver&amp;rsquo;s door once they arrived. The driver was removed and transported with moderate injuries. At the time of the crash Truck 15-1 was finishing up a&nbsp;standby assignment in the City of Sunbury&nbsp;due to a second alarm house fire. Hearing the dispatch and&nbsp;the possibility of Life Flight, Truck 15-1&nbsp;started north towards&nbsp;the borough.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Truck arrived a short time later and assisted the Rescue with any remaining duties. Units on&nbsp;the scene: Rescue 15-1, Truck 15-1, MICU&nbsp;15, Chief 1502 (Stump), Milton Fire Police, and Milton PD.
