TRAILER FIRE ASSIST

Tuesday, February 14, 2012 The 15 House was dispatched at 23:52 Hrs. along with Lewisburg (CO2) to Modern Way Trailer Court for a report of smoke from a trailer. Pottsgrove Chief 1201 who lives in the same court arrived on the scene and advised he had a working trailer fire. Shortly after Lewisburg's Chiefs arrived they requested a second alarm. Engine 15-1 responded with six and arrived on the scene assisting Lewisburg's engine crew with a water supply and extensive overhaul in the trailer. There were no injuries reported but a family pet was lost in the fire. The State Police Fire Marshal ruled the fire electrical in nature and believes it started in a lamp. Units from Lewisburg, White Deer Township, and Pottsgrove operated on the scene. Company 15 was on the scene for about two hours.
